In 2007, residents Jake and Lorna Medley, and former resident Barney Smedley and his bride Louisa, both staged their receptions there.
The hall is ideally suited to wedding receptions, offering a combination of light and airy rooms and a fully serviced bar. Use of the playing fields and the addition of marquees is also possible, subject to specific approval by Newton Regis, Seckington and No Man's Heath Parish Council.

Newton Regis Village Hall judged best in county

The newly constructed Newton Regis Village Hall scooped three top prizes in Warwickshire Rural Community Council's Village Ventures Awards 2006.
The awards, which are open to any village in the county of Warwickshire, are designed to recognise excellence in village projects and are presented in several categories.
Newton Regis Village Hall was opened in 2005 after local people formed a charity to raise construction funds of £273,000 and the project was given a gold seal of approval by WRCC judges who deemed it to be the best village hall project in the county. It was also voted joint overall winner* in the competition as a whole.

The hall also took second place in the communications category for its village hall newsletter, and received a total of £200 in prize money across the three categories.
Charity Treasurer Mrs Susan Barker who received the 'Best Village Hall Project Award' on behalf of the trustees, said she was delighted that the project had been recognised in the awards. "Building a new village hall was at times a difficult and very challenging project, but it was very much worth it, as the finished building and the services it accommodates are proving to be a real benefit for the community. We are delighted to see it doing so well and really very honoured to receive this award."
She added that the prize money would go towards a fund set up to buy staging for the hall, and thanked Warwickshire Rural Community Council for their support.
Newton Regis Village Hall was constructed with assistance from the Big Lottery Fund, The Rural Enterprise Scheme and Waste Recycling Environmental and was officially opened by His Royal Highness The Earl of Wessex.
*The other joint overall winner was Atherstone Civic Society – A History of Atherstone.

The Earl toured the new hall, which was completed in 2005 with grants totalling £273,00, before meeting users of the new building and unveiling a plaque to commemorate the occasion.
Chairman of the village hall charity David Hedgecock said the visit was a great honour for everyone involved in the project. "It's fantastic that the Earl of Wessex was able to visit a small community like this one and see that when people work together in pursuit of a common goal, so much can be achieved," he said.
Newton Regis Village Hall was the subject of a long fundraising campaign by villagers to replace a dilapidated wooden building and create a new hall capable of accommodating a range of local services. The community raised over £12,000 towards the project which was also supported by the Rural Enterprise Scheme, the Big Lottery Fund and Waste Recycling Group Ltd.
Since opening its doors, a range of local services have been established in the hall, including a police surgery, children's playschemes, a planned Post Office and training and leisure classes. Plans are now in place to extend the range of services still further to include collaboration with other groups and charities.
